What’s Going On Today:
Primary Election Day is Thursday, September 6th! Polls are open 7am to 8pm. Check our post for the full ballot rundown.
Thursday is also the first day of school for grades 1-2 in Boston Public Schools, including the North End’s Eliot School. BPS has a hotline to answer questions at 617-635-9046. BTD also put out a warning for drivers to watch for kids crossing streets and to leave extra time on your commute as school buses do their routes.
At 7pm, head to the Prado for a NEMPAC’s free String Chamber concert. There is also Arts & Crafts starting at 5:30pm.
Reminder – There is NO monthly Public Safety meeting on Thursday because the Nazzaro Center will be occupied with the primary election. The next Public Safety meeting with Boston Police, District A-1 is scheduled for October 4th at 6:30 pm.
The Events Calendar has all the details. Please check with organizers for last minute changes.
