In the Senate since July 2007, he represents the First Suffolk Middlesex District that includes the North End / Waterfront, Beacon Hill, Cambridge, East Boston, Revere and Winthrop. The reconstruction of North Washington Street Bridge, commonly known as the Charlestown Bridge, was presented to middling reviews by attendees at this week’s meeting of the North End / Waterfront Residents’ Association (NEWRA).
