Zoning Appeals and License Applications

7:00 PM – 7:15 PM
422-424 Hanover Street, Margot Seligman has filed a zoning appeal to change the legal occupancy of the property from four (4) residential apartments and restaurant to five (5) residential apartments and expand the proposed first floor apartment’s living space into the basement.

7:15 PM – 7:30 PM
130 Salem Street, Monica’s Mercato, Inc. has applied to the Licensing Board to amend the existing C.V. 7-day Malt and Wine Retail License to change the description of the business space from one room on the first floor with basement storage to two rooms on the first floor with basement storage.

7:30 PM – 7:45 PM
(UPDATE) 37 Charter Street, Filomania Falcucci has filed a zoning appeal to change the legal occupancy of her 4-bedroom, 3,000 square foot residential unit to two 2-bedroom units by splitting the unit.

7:45 PM – 8:00 PM
Update on the proposed City Council Home Rule Petition to change the way alcohol licenses are issued in the City of Boston.

Comments on the Boston Garden (Development) Project

8:00 PM – 8:20 PM
Public comments on the Boston Garden Project’s Expanded Project Notification Form (EPNF) must be submitted to the Boston Redevelopment Authority (BRA) by October 24, 2013. The ZLC Committee plans to draft a formal comment letter to present to NEWRA members for approval at the October 10 NEWRA meeting.

Comments on the Government Center Garage Redevelopment Project

8:20 PM – 8:40 PM
Public comments on the Government Center Garage Project’s Draft Project Impact Report (DPIR) must be submitted to the BRA by November 6, 2013. The ZLC Committee plans to draft a formal comment letter to present to NEWRA members for approval at the October 10 NEWRA meeting.

All NEWRA meetings are open, and North End/Waterfront residents are encouraged to attend.
