The Friends of Christopher Columbus Park hosted the annual trellis lighting with cookies, coffee, hot chocolate and songs by the NEMPAC Choir and Ray on accordion. The situation at Christopher Columbus Park appears to have stabilized after a concerning homeless incident in the tot lot and reports of drug use in the rose garden.
