Don Chiofaro’s Harbor Garage development project may be back on the table according to news reported by Thomas Grillo at the Boston Business Journal:

Chiofaro has hired McDermott Ventures, the Boston public relations firm that has done work for a variety of commercial real estate clients. Pam McDermott, the company’s president, has been talking with abutters and stakeholders about the “process” of getting the project back on track.

Tom Palmer, who represents Harbor Tower residents, said no one from the building has heard from Chiofaro’s representatives.

“Aquarium Place”  was previously proposed by Mr. Chiofaro on the Harbor Garage site. The plan called for two angular towers at heights of 615 and 471 feet. The project ran into abutter and City Hall opposition, being  substantially taller than the 200 foot height limit as part of the Greenway’s development guidelines.
