italianissimo! Serata di Gala, is a fundraising event toward the promotion of Italian culture, including the long-term goal of creating a center for such a purpose. The celebration is presented by the Consulate General of Italy in Boston on Friday, June 1, 2012, 7-10pm at Louis on Fan Pier on the occasion of the Italian National Day.
Proceeds from italianissimo! will help fund Italian language programs in New England schools and will benefit the “Friends of the Italian Cultural Center of Boston Foundation,” whose mission is to contribute to the development of an Italian Cultural Center that will serve Boston and the region. The Italian Cultural Center will celebrate “all things Italian.”
