Five North End restaurants held a special benefit dinner on Sunday night to support the Joslin Diabetes Center’s High Hopes Fund. The annual event, CityFeast – Dining Out to Conquer Diabetes, is organized by Carla Agrippino Gomes of Antico Forno and Terramia with joint participation from Lucca’s Matt and Sean Williams, Taranta’s Jose Duarte and Tresca’s Ray Bourque and Harvey Wilk.
The first seating also saw Boston officials come out including Mayor Thomas M. Menino, City Councilor Sal LaMattina and State Rep. Aaron Michlewitz with their friends and families. Attending on behalf of Joslin’s was CEO and President John L. Brooks, III, President and CEO and Martin J. Abrahamson, M.D., Senior Vice President, Medical Director.
