The North End Music & Performing Arts Center names Evelyn Harper as Merit Scholarship Award Recipient for the 2012 Winter Quarter.
Evelyn is one of NEMPAC’s more advanced students, studying violin with Sarah Glenn for over two years. She has continued to show growth in her technique and musicality, and is a very dedicated, diligent student at NEMPAC. We congratulate her!Honorable mention awards go to Lucy Rosenberg, Piano Student of Ben Xia and Elisabeth Abeyta, Piano Student of Ben Xia.NEMPAC’s Merit Scholarship Program awards one private instruction student each quarter free tuiton in recognition for their commitment to learning and dedication in their musicianship.
Due to the rain on Sunday, the NEMPAC Opera Project production of La Bohéme will be moved inside to St. Stephen’s Church at 401 Hanover Street, Boston’s North End at 7pm.
