Boston Fire Department responded to a small fire at 181 Salem Street around 8:30 pm on Thursday, January 12th. The low-rise brick building is located on the corner of Tileston Street between the Old North Church and the North Bennet Street School. Firefighters on the scene described the incident as a “stovetop” fire that was easily resolved. Fans were brought in to deal with the smoke inside the building.

Boston Fire Responds to Smoke and Possible Chimney Problem on Prince Street

Child Rescued From Boston Harbor At Christopher Columbus Park
A child was rescued from Boston Harbor at Christopher Columbus Park on Saturday night around 8 pm from a possible fall around low tide. Catherine captures this photo of the police boat rescue and heard the child crying (good sign).
