In the largest neighborhood skating event of the season, the North End Columbus Day Committee hosted the 4th Annual Santa Skate & Toy Drive at Steriti Rink on Saturday, December 10, 2011.

Skaters brought toys and the kids enjoyed photos with Santa while everyone enjoyed skating at the rink! NEMPAC was their with bells on and Jeremy was there with his guitar for a sing-a-long.

This year, toys and donations will go to the families at the Italian Home for Children. If you could not make it, you may drop off your donations at Saint Anthony’s Club @ 203 Endicott Street. Monetary donations gladly accepted to either the Franciscan Baby Center or the Italian Home for Children. For more info, contact Louis Strazzullo at strazz316@gmail.com.
