1. I noticed in your last answers that you had written about trash pick-up but not curbside single-stream recycling pick-up which of course is FRIDAY with the regular trash *&* recycling (paper, plastic, cans all mixed together, no need to separate). Recycling must go out in clear plastic bags provided by City ordinance, by your condominium association or your landlord.
Thank you, Tommye-K. Mayer
Tommye, Sorry for the oversight … Thanks for writing in.
2. Toni & Maria, Can fellow owners in a condominium complex assume that new owners have received the Rules and Regulations of the building? If so, from what source would they normally get them?
Jim
Hi Jim,
Never ass-u-me anything Lol …. Usually a new owner will receive a full set of condominium documents, rules, regulations and budget from their attorney or real estate broker. To be sure, it would not be a bad idea to include a set in their welcome package to your building.
3. Hi Toni and Maria,
My name Lisa, I own property in the North End, in which I have a business. I am thinking about selling but would like to keep my business at the location. Is this a possibility?
Hey Lisa,
Yes! It is called “sale and lease back.” Text book definition is: A transaction in which an owner sells his or her improved property and, as part of the same transaction, signs a long–term lease to remain in possession of the premises.
