2011 North End Christmas Parade Photos

After Santa Claus arrived by special North Pole helicopter (see separate photos), the 41st North End Christmas Parade entertained kids of
all ages through the neighborhood streets. Hosted by the Nazzaro Community Center, North End Against Drugs and the Mayor’s Office of Special Events, the parade featured the Saint Alfio’s Band, Boston Fireman’s Band and Salem High School band. A annual favorite is the Shriners Allepo motorcycles, mini-trucks and clowns. Add in Paul Revere on his horse, fire trucks, classic cars and neighborhood celebrities and you can see why the crowds came out for the 2011 parade. 1. Great Pictures, the Bands proving Christmas Music is always what makes a parade a happy event. The Saint Alfio's Band and the Boston Fireman Band were excellent. Also the Clown sweeping under the rug. Great idea. In summary, the whole parade was awesome.
    Thanks for sharing.
