Save the date – Thursday January 19th, 2012 from 6 to 10pm

Fundraiser at Lucia’s Restaurant on Hanover Street to benefit the Wounded Warrior Project. Many more details about this event will follow.

Olivia’s Scimeca’s son, Ricky from the North End, along with his friends Robert McCarthy and Justin Santoro while deployed in Afghanistan have decided that upon their return from the War in March 2012 that they would ruck the Boston Marathon in order to raise money and awareness for the Wounded Warrior Project. Their projected goal is $15,000 and they have raised a little over $2000.

Thanks to the generosity of Donato Frattaroli and AnnMarie as they have offered to host this event in the upstairs part of the restaurant. There will be raffles as well as a silent auction.

If you can’t make it and would still like to contribute please make checks payable to Wounded Warrior Project and mail to Olivia Scimeca 21 Cleveland Place #5 Boston, Mass 02113.
