The North End Columbus Day Parade Committee held its annual banquet at Filippo’s with a large crowd of supporters. The event was held in honor of the late Michael A. Nazzaro, Jr., former State Representative for the North End who passed away in March. Olivia Scimeca was also honored by the North End VFW Post #144 for her family’s service as her son, Ricky, serves in Afghanistan. State Representative Aaron Michlewitz was the Master of Ceremonies and Louis Strazzullo chaired the Parade Committee.
