The rain last Sunday brought us inside to Steriti Rink, but there was still plenty of fun for all at the annual North End Family Pride Day. The event was the culmination of a week’s worth of family fun activities sponsored by North End Against Drugs, Nazzaro Center and NSTAR. This year’s event was in honor of the late NEAD President Robert “Bobby D” DeCristoforo. Hosted tables included:

There was also the annual bbq, bocce tournament and live entertainment by Crosstown, Street Magic and the Nazzaro Center Kids Talent Show.
I am not sure how much pride the participants had when, walking my dog on Monday morning, I saw how much trash was left behind the skating rink. It took days for it to be cleaned up!
@Jodi. How do you know the trash was from the North End Against Drugs event Sunday afternoon and not from either the homeless people who use the back of the rink as a summer campsite or the teens ( from everywhere not just the North End) that hang out back there during the feasts?
