The Friends of Christopher Columbus Park (FOCCP) joined with neighbors and friends to cleanup the tot-lot playground area at the park on Saturday June 12, 2011. NEMPAC also came out to support the annual event with fun activities for the children. Watch the video for some of the action!

Garden of Hope Wins First Place in Mayor’s Garden Contest
The idea for the Garden of Hope at Christopher Columbus Park was born out of disappointment when, early last spring, dozens of hybrid roses in the classic rose garden failed to make it through the winter season.
