Boston Public Schools registration for the 2010-2011 school year starts on Monday, January 4
Students entering Kindergarten, Grade 6 or Grade 9 may register during the month of January
BOSTON – Boston Public Schools (BPS) announces the start of the registration process for the 2010-2011 school year. The first round of registration runs from January 4 – February 5, 2010 and is open to students entering Kindergarten, Grade 6 or Grade 9.
How to Register
· Parents/guardians of new-to-BPS students must visit one of BPS Family Resource Centers (FRC) to register their child(ren) for school. To save time, parents may begin the process online using the district’s pre-registration site, BPSExpress; however, the registration process must be completed in person at an FRC. The FRCs have extended hours during the next four weeks of registration, including new Saturday hours at the East Zone FRC. A complete list of locations and hours is below.

The ABCD North End/West End Neighborhood Service Center (NE/WE NSC) held its Halloween party on Monday, the day before Halloween. Normandy Partners Presents “Haymarket Square” Hotel Plan for Greenway Parcel 9 Development
Normandy Partners, in cooperation with Jones Lang LaSalle, presented its project proposal to MassDOT and the Parcel 9 RFP Committee members. The $60 million proposal includes a 180-room hotel, 2-story public “Winter Garden” lobby, community meeting space, public restrooms, Blackstone St. improvements, a “Haymarket Square” through-block connection to the Greenway and a ground floor market.
