Fire Extinguished in Goody Glover’s Basement

Boston Fire Department responded to a fire in the basement of Goody Glovers Restaurant, 48-50 Salem Street, at 4:10 a.m. on Tuesday morning. The sprinkler was activated, but there were no injuries. The fire was extinguished and the building was ventilated for smoke. Food and electrical inspectors were requested to investigate the cause.

NEMPAC Film Festival Videos

The Second Annual NEMPAC North End Film and Music Festival featured local filmmakers, musicians and plenty of friends and neighbors who enjoyed Valentine’s Day at the Hard Rock Cafe for the event. A portion of the proceeds will go toward visual arts education.
