D’IORIO Michelena “Mickey”, 86, of Haverhill, a former longtime resident of Boston’s North End, died February 17, 2011, at the Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Medford. She was the daughter of the late Rosa (Solimine) Lo Russo and the late Saverio Lo Russo. She was the beloved wife of the late Gennaro J. D’Iorio, and mother of the late Gennaro G. D’Iorio. Sister of Madeline Pisari of Medford, the late Teresa Comeau of Boston, and the late Anthony Lo Russo of Oregon. Aunt to many nieces, nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, February 25, at 9:45 A.M. in St. Leonard’s Church, on the corner of Hanover and Prince Sts., in the North End, followed by burial at Holy Cross Cemetery in Malden. Family will be accepting visitors from 4:00-8:00 P.M. on Thursday, February 24, 2011, at the Boston Harborside Home, 580 Commercial St., Boston, MA. 02109. Parking on Commercial St. with attendants.
