The Bostonian Society, which operates the 1713 Old State House as a museum, is offering the NEHS a behind-the-scenes tour of the 298-year-old tower, along with a tour of the museum as well as a selection of artifacts NOT NORMALLY ON VIEW TO THE PUBLIC, which may include
Silver and copper items made by Paul Revere
Engravings of houses on Hanover Street in the 1700s
Items from the Age of Sail and the great shipyards of the North End
Photographs of streets and buildings in the North End in the 1800s
Furniture or other personal items owned by Thomas Hutchinson
Tickets for North End Historical Society Members are $5.00, which will help cover the cost of preparing for and staffing this event for us. Tickets for nonmembers are $10.
