The North End Athletic Association is nearing the end of its registration period for its Fall Soccer Program for children ages 4-5 and 6-8! Please let John Romano (patjr@comcast.net) know if your family is interested in participating for eight Saturdays beginning September 18th. Cost is $35 for the entire program (shin guards not included). It should be a lot of fun to get together to do this and cheer our kids on!
An update on where we are with NEAA FALL SOCCER. We are planning on starting on Saturday, September 18th. Our plan is to have the 4/5 year olds play at 9am. This will be a clinic atmosphere with the kids breaking up into groups and then probably playing a short game at the end of each week – maybe starting the second week for games.
The 6 to 8 year olds will play games. We are shooting for 4 teams, we need more players!! More are signing up every day.
Please let let your friends know if they have not yet signed up. Give them my e-mail address and I’ll e-mail them a form. Lynn Bova will be around the NE Pool all week, she has forms as well. Cost is only $35 per player.
We will provide Shirts and Soccer Socks. You will need to get shin guards. The 6 to 8 year olds should have rubber cleats with no middle cleat at top of shoe (these are baseball cleats). I do not recommend that you buy expensive ones – as they won’t fit even in the spring (just past experience with my kids).
