Boston Neighborhood Basketball League Now Registering

Menino and Boston Centers for Youth & Families (BCYF) are pleased to announce that the Boston Neighborhood Basketball League (BNBL) is currently accepting registrations for individuals and teams to compete in the 41st annual summer season. The registration deadline is Friday, June 11th.

BNBL also offers a Pee Wee Development program for boys and girls
ages 6-10 at the Shelburne Community Center and the Roslindale
Community Center. This program teaches young players the basics
of basketball in a fun and non-competitive setting. Applications
for the Pee Wee Basketball Program are also available.

The BNBL season officially begins on Monday, June 28th. Teams
must register by June 11th. There is a $10 registration fee for
teams to participate in BNBL. Registration forms can be picked up
at BCYF’s Administrative Offices (1483 Tremont Street in Mission
Hill), picked up at any BCYF community center, or downloaded
on-line soon at www.cityofboston.gov/bcyf. The league will end on
Friday, August 20th, including all playoff games.

The Boston Neighborhood Basketball League is the oldest municipal
basketball league in the country and serves over 3,100 young men
and women in three divisions: 13 and under, 15 and under, and 18
and under. The BNBL has sites all over the city at various
community centers and local parks. For more information please
