Piccoli Regali, a program to assist anyone with a food need in the North End, has the resources at present to increase the number we serve and are trying to reach out to those in the community to notify them of this resource.
Piccoli Regali, or “Little Gifts,” has begun distributing small bags of food items to people in need in the North End. Those in need are encouraged to come to the Clough House, 21 Unity Street (behind the Old North Church), between 10:00AM and 1:00PM on Saturdays.
Jim Ring, Director of Piccoli Regali, started the program last Fall with the intention of helping to feed our neighbors who cannot get to a public meal program on weekends. Piccoli Regali regularly helps 25-30 people nearby to the church. The program is open to all, and is sponsored by the congregation of Old North Church, and volunteers from the community. The program will run on Saturdays, though the end of April.
