After several years of construction, a new North End tot lot playground has opened on Stillman St., near the corner of Salem St. It is not so easy to find, but if you turn the corner behind the old Paesan’s Restaurant (now closed) you will see it.
The brand new tot lot has a jungle gym and tucked away in the corner is a toddler-safe swing set. A gated fence is up around both sets. The half basketball court is also still on the site.
The tot-lot was funded by the City’s Capital Fund in conjunction with a donation made by the developer of the new condos on 64 Salem Street.
