It was from the 17-gun salute given by the USS Constitution today in Boston Harbor. The outing into the harbor was for Old Ironsides’ 212th birthday. The world’s oldest commissioned warship that is still afloat is undergoing a three-year renovation in preparation for the Bicentennial of the War of 1812 where she earned her name.
