Lucia Withdraws Live Entertainment Application

Lucia Ristorante has withdrawn its application for live entertainment at 415 Hanover Street, according to the Mayor’s Office of Consumer and Entertainment Licensing.  The restaurant was looking to host events with two instruments and a vocalist or comedian. The application was for entertainment through 11:00pm in the basement level of the restaurant. No reason was given on why the application was withdrawn.

  1. Too bad. Donato lives in the neighborhood. Unlike other owners who shall remain nameless, he is a well respected long term restaurant owner and one of the most generous to & supportive of the neighborhood organizations in the North End. At least he would respond to complaints and show respect for his neighbors and not tell them to move to the suburbs.
    Too bad the people who actually live here can’t pass an ordinance that says a restaurant owner must live in the North End.
