Filippo Frattaroli opened Lucia Ristorante in 1977 and is now applying for a transfer from his brother Donato Frattaroli to once again take over as proprietor of the landmark restaurant at in Boston’s North End. Lucia’s is located at 415 Hanover Street on the corner of Harris Street. The establishment celebrated 35 years in operation in 2012.
Philip Frattaroli presented the application to North End / Waterfront Neighborhood Council (NEWNC) on March 14th. There will be no change in the number of seats or closing hours (currently 1:00 am). As NEWNC President, Philip recused himself from the vote which was unanimous in support of the proposed transfer of the all-alcohol license from Donato Donato Gianni LLC to Conca Inc.
