Gear up before the annual North End Holiday Shopping Stroll with hot chocolate and carolers at the tree event sponsored by the North End Beautification Committee. The cheer will begin at 6pm on December 4th at the corner of Cross and Hanover Streets. Santa will be on hand along with a bake sale to benefit St. John School.

It was a balmy Friday night for the popular North End Holiday Shopping Stroll, now in its 9th year. Shoppers had free reign to explore the trendy boutiques, wine stores, and specialty shops through the neighborhood’s fabled streets. As part of its “Bright Lights for Winter Nights” event on December 21, 2010 the Greenway Conservancy hosted the 2nd annual tree lighting of the Great Elm in the North End Greenway parks.
