Mayor Elect Marty Walsh talked with North End and Downtown Boston constituents on Thursday, December 5th during a fundraiser at Joe’s American Bar & Grille on the waterfront. The event was organized by supporters Daniel Passacantilli, Jeff Drago, Daniel Toscano and Stephen Passacantilli.
In a brief speech, Walsh said he does not care who voted for who and is looking forward to announcing his initial plans as Mayor in the next few weeks. The Mayor Elect has recently announced Working Teams to help establish policy as part of the transition (More information at Boston14.org).
Inauguration Day is January 6, 2014 when Martin Walsh will formally take the reigns from longtime Mayor Tom Menino. Shown below is a photo gallery from the Joe’s event.

After the intense Mayoral debate on Tuesday night, Marty Walsh wound down while talking with supporters at Stanza dei Sigari, the cigar bar on Hanover Street in Boston’s North End. Stephen Passacantilli’s campaign for Boston City Council District 1 has announced a major milestone. This past week, the campaign knocked on their 8,000th door and leads all other campaigns in social media engagement with over 1,300 Facebook followers. The votes are in throughout Massachusetts and come January 2015, Charlie Baker looks to be sworn in as the 72nd Governor of the Commonwealth.
