Michele Holdings, LLC, appeared before the North End / Waterfront Neighborhood Council (NEWNC) on December 12, 2011 regarding zoning relief for 51-53 North Washington Street and 55 & 57-59 Cooper Street, buildings that formerly included Joe Tecce’s Restaurant. The developer’s appeal is to change the occupancy of the some of the total 16 units from commercial to residential, as well as relief for parking and open space violations. In total, the developer will own 32 residential units in the area.
NEWNC unanimously voted in favor of the zoning variances. This matter was also supported by NEWRA last week and goes before the Zoning Board of Appeal on January 24, 2012.
