This year’s event included four games at Langone Park on Commercial street with a pizza party and ceremony in memory of lifelong North End resident, Carmen “Tilly” DeMartino. The weather was perfect for the North End Athletic Association Opening Day Youth Baseball League on Saturday, April 28, 2012. This year, the ceremonies included a heartfelt dedication to the late Robert “Bobby” Simboli.
