The Boston Police Department is releasing the following images in an effort to identify the individuals pictured in relation to an arson incident which occurred in the area of 241 Hanover Street in the North End. Detectives are looking to identify a white hispanic male with multiple tattoos in his neck and shoulder area and a white female. (Click to enlarge images.)
The facts of the original incident are as follows: At approximately 5:01 AM on Saturday, July 20, 2019, officers assigned to District A-1 (Downtown) responded to a call for an arson in the area of 241 Hanover Street. On arrival, officers spoke to witnesses in the area who stated they observed a gasoline ignited fire on Board Alley next to 241 Hanover Street. The fire was extinguished and officers searched the area for the suspects to no avail.
The Boston Police Department is actively reviewing the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident.
