The members of St. Anthony Society are excited to announce the 2018 recipients of their Annual Neighborhood Donations Fund.
Each holiday season, St. Anthony Society recognizes North End organizations that make significant contributions to the community and help make the neighborhood a great place to live. In addition to North End groups, members also support other worthy organizations and causes that improve the lives of fellow citizens.
“Our local churches, schools, youth and seniors programs are the foundation of our great neighborhood. The people of the North End have supported Saint Anthony’s Feast for 100 years, it is with great pride that we have the opportunity each year to give back and thank our fellow residents in this way.” – Gerald Moretti, President of the Saint Anthony Society.
The 2018 recipients of the Neighborhood Donations Fund are listed below.
North End Athletic Association, The North End Christmas Parade, North End Against Drugs, North End Seniors Social Club, The North End Knights Basketball Team, North End Music & Performing Arts Center, Nazzaro Center Activity Fund, Saint John School, The Elliot School, Saint Leonard Church, Saint Stephen Church, Casa Maria Activity Fund, The Arch Street Church Food Pantry, New England Veterans Center, The Italian Home for Children, Pitching In For Kids Sports Program, Autism Speaks, American Cancer Society – Breast Cancer Walk, and the Anthony Morella Street Hockey Tournament for The Fund for Autistic Children.
