The Rose Kennedy Greenway Conservancy could be receiving a large check from the city’s surplus fund, despite talks of self-sufficiency with the non-profit, read more on the Boston Herald.

10:30AM I Piccoli Lettori. Join I AM Books at 189 North Street for its Italian reading group for children ages 0-4 and their parents. The session will involve multiple readings and games for a fun morning of Italian language and learning.

12:00PM Fall Festival at Columbus Park. The Friends of Christopher Columbus Park Fall Festival will be complete with the Fall Parade, magic, pumpkin painting, bubbles and more, see additional details here.

1:00PM The Clothes They Wore: Puritan Fashions and their Status. Drop in to view a display in the Revere Room of the Visitor Center of three historically correct reproduction dresses each reflecting a different decade and social strata of the Puritan era, hand crafted by Ruby-Grace Miller. Co-sponsored by the Partnership of the Historic Bostons, Inc.

6:00PM Joseph Sciorra – Built with Faith: Italian American Imagination. Join I AM Books at 189 North Street for an author talk with Joseph Sciorra

11:00AM LeggiAMO Insieme. Join I AM Books at 189 North Street and the volunteer group Nati per Leggere of Greater Boston as they present LeggiAMO Insieme, full immersion Italian story time and play. For children 4-7 and their parents. This event is free and open to the public.

4:00PM Beth Daigle – Musing Mediterranean. Join I AM Books at 189 North Street for a trip to the Mediterranean with Beth Daigle in this author talk about the daughter of an Italian mother and Greek father who boarded a flight to Rome and began her adventures.
