Boston Snow Emergency Declared Starting Friday at Noon; Boston Public Schools Closed and MTBA Shuts Down 3:30 PM on Friday
The City of Boston has declared a snow emergency, starting noon on Friday, in preparation for the upcoming winter blizzard. Other Friday impacts: Boston Public Schools are closed, the MBTA will close at 3:30 pm and all drivers are encouraged to be off the streets by noon. Parking is prohibited from snow emergency streets.
