Boston Harbor Now will recognize responsible development along Boston Harbor at their Annual OnBoard Awards and Networking Celebration. Their 2017 Honorees are Clippership Wharf, a Lendlease property; and Atlantic Wharf of Boston Properties. The November 6th event is the former The Boston Harbor Association Gala and hosted by Boston Harbor Hotel and food is by Legal Sea Foods.
About the Honorees:
Clippership Wharf:For Lendlease, being a thoughtful developer and good neighbor is an integral part of the company mantra. Atlantic Wharf: Atlantic Wharf has an exemplary and thoughtful property management plan that is revised annually and welcomes input from a committee of neighborhood advocates with broad interests including artists, non-profits, businesses and, the City and State. Their thoughtful programming activates the space in a way that is welcoming to residents, visitors, and workers and includes fitness classes on the lawn, Berkeley students music sessions, theater shows in the lobby, and summer programming. Boston Properties is focused on addressing sea level rise and climate change and incorporate resilient design strategies into their developments. They are a leader as a “green” company, ranked in the top quadrant of the Global Real Estate Sustainability Benchmark and earned their fifth “Green Star”. They are host to one of the most frequently used and well known FPA spaces in Boston, the Boston Society of Architects.
