Boston Community Collaborative coordinated an amazing on court opportunity for kids at last Wednesday night’s Celtics HOME OPENER vs the Milwaukee Bucks. 18 lucky kids got to experience the Celtic’s “ANTHEM BUDDIES” before the game. The “ANTHEM BUDDIES” experience is when the kids line up in front of the Celtics for the singing of the National Anthem.
Some of the notable highlights of the evening: The kids got to see lots of behind the scenes opening night activity in the media area including Lucky and the flip dunkers’ warm ups, seeing warm ups by the dance troupes from Phunk Nation, seeing pyrotechnic equipment getting ready to go on court. While waiting to line up in front of the Celtics, they got to watch warmups from courtside. They got to experience the players up close and personal and be very impressed by the size of the massive NBA players.
BCC is thrilled to be able to facilitate such a cool opportunity for these kids.
