Sail Boston has unveiled the berthing locations for the Tall Ships that will enter Boston harbor this weekend. They will dock at the World Trade Center, the Fish Pier, the Fan Pier, the Charlestown Navy Yard, the Moakley Courthouse, and Rowes Wharf.
The parade sails into the inner harbor this Saturday, June 17, at 9:00 AM when the U.S. Coast Guard Barque Eagle, America’s Tall Ship, passes by the official reviewing stand aboard USS Whidbey Island. As Eagle passes Whidbey Island, four U.S. Navy FA-18 Hornets aircraft from Strike Fighter Squadron VFA 131 (Wild Cats) will fly by in formation. The parade will proceed to its turnaround across from the Charlestown Navy Yard where the ships will proceed to their berthing locations.
The public will have the opportunity to board the ships free of charge to stroll the historic decks and interact with the crew. Boarding hours are 3:00 – 10:00 PM on Saturday, June 17 and 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM on Sunday, June 18 – Wednesday, June 21 at all locations except Boston Fish Pier. Boston Fish Pier will be open from 12:00 – 10:00 PM on Sunday, June 18, and 4:00 – 10:00 PM Monday, June 19 through Wednesday, June 21. The ships will be docked at the following locations (berthing locations are subject to change):
