There actually was another parade this weekend … this one held on Boston Harbor. On Saturday night, the big boats came out, all dressed up, for the annual Boston Harbor Parade of Lights, sponsored by Sail Boston. The parade featured over 30 brightly lit vessels cruising the harbor.
Apparently, dancing on boats is very popular. And if you listen closely, you will hear a few “We got the cup!” chants.
The video shows the parade from the North End side of the harbor. Notice how the scenes and harbor colors change from dusk to dark as nightfall descends on the harbor.
OMG … this is totally amazing. Matt, you have really outdone yourself. I've been glued to your site. You don't miss a beat. I've worked with video files and it takes a ton of time. People say this is the best neighborhood website in the country and I agree! We're lucky to have you.
This video is FANTASTIC! I enjoyed it immensely as I sipped coffee at breakfast. Beautiful views!
Outstanding video. Such a perfect evening for a parade of boats, and wonderfully captured in this video.
Reminds us once again what a wonderful part of the nation we live in.
