This years Anthony “Wrinkles” Morella Memorial Street Hockey Tournament will take place on June 4, 2017 at 10 AM. The event will be played at “The Gassy” on Prince St in the North End. All proceeds of the event will support the local New England charity, The Fund for Autistic Children.
Anthony was a beacon in the neighborhood who grew to become a local hero. Anthony was taken from us in January of 2008, but his memory will forever live on as we remember “our buddy ol’ pal”.
The Fund for Autistic Children is a non-profit organization to support individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and their families. The purpose of the organization is to raise funds that can be distributed amongst organizations in Massachusetts to be used for education, housing, recreation & research for this population. Over time, family, friends and members of the ASD community have committed their time and effort to this great cause & all continue to work to make a difference in the Autism community.
