The annual Anthony “Wrinkles” Morella Memorial Street Hockey Tournament in Boston’s North End raised over $4,000 for the Fund for Autistic Children on Sunday, June 4th.

Organizers Justin Amoroso, Michael James LoPriore and Sal Gesamondo said, “We would just like to thank you all, in particular all of our volunteers who made this day what it was! Thank you Maria Lanza, Linda LoPriore, Jillian Melito, Kelsi Mchugh, Jordyn Taylor, Nicky Verrocchi, our referees John Pregmon and John Paolo, our DJ Dan Campbell and our national anthem singer Vanessa Salvucci! Also, thank you to all our sponsors and donors and to all who came down to the Gassy to support the event. We will see you next year for an even better Tournament!”

The event was played at “The Gassy” on Prince St in the North End in memory of North Ender Anthony “Wrinkles” Morella who passed away in 2008. The Fund for Autistic Children is a non-profit organization to support individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and their families. If you would like to make a donation, please contact justinamoroso@gmail.com.
