The Greenway held its first Public Art Kickoff Celebration on May 19th to launch its new exhibits for the season. There are six new installations in the various Greenway parks from the North End to Chinatown. Some of the artists were on hand to meet the public, including Carolina Aragón at her High Tide display on Cross Street. Also in the North End, the Boston University Bhangra Dancers performed along the Freedom Trail. The always popular Bubble Guy dazzled young and old while many took part in pottery making at the Pottery on Wheels truck. Later at the Rings Fountain, Wu Dao Kung Fu demonstrations were held next to the Circle of Animals/Zodiac Heads exhibit.
