Andrea Waldstein is one of Project Kesher’s earliest supporters and a founding board member. Her deep connection to the region was solidified with a trip she took with her then 80-year old father to the town he left in Ukraine when he was 12. She has recruited for, and traveled on, PK trips to Ukraine in 1994 and 1996, Russia in 2004 and Belarus in 2010. Andrea fostered a Boston-wide commitment to PK through the creation of Bi-Cultural Global Women’s Seders there.
The Boston seders created a powerful synergy with those simultaneously created throughout Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Georgia and Israel reaching thousands of women and girls each year. Andrea shares her commitment to PK with husband Arthur.
Andrea and Arthur live at Burroughs Wharf and both are very active and committed to the Boston Arts Community. In addition, they are passionate and generous supporters of the North End Music and Performing Arts Center in the North End. Andrea is a gifted and valuable board member of NEMPAC contributing to its growth and success.
Congratulations Andrea! We are so lucky to have you on the Board of Directors at NEMPAC!
