Congratulations go to out to 6th grader Vinnie O’Byrne who represented St. John School in Saturday’s Boston Centers for Youth and Family Citywide Scripps Spelling Bee. The spelling bee was held at the Mildred Avenue Community Center.
Vinnie finished in 5th place out of twenty students for the spelling bee that went 36 rounds before crowning the champion.
Vinnie worked very hard studying for the spelling bee and we are so proud of him and our other students who participated in the school-wide spelling bee.
