Boston City Hall Child Care honored by ABCD Foster Grandparents!
Mayor Marty Walsh declared August 28 “Foster Grandparent Day” in Boston to mark the 50th anniversary of the national program. ABCD celebrated with awards to vital community partners and a social media campaign showcasing the honorees.

The national Foster Grandparent Program is considered America’s most heartwarming program, bringing low-income seniors together with children of special needs at child care centers, schools, hospitals and other community sites. There are 155 ABCD Foster Grandparents in Boston and Quincy.
