The New England Aquarium’s teen internship program was recently featured on CBS Boston’s Eye on Education program. The Education Department at the New England Aquarium runs a variety of programs that reach more than 100,000 young people every year. They educate the next generation of ocean stewards and scientists, while also fostering strong voices for action on global climate change and marine conservation. Interns not only develop core science skills, strengthen their identities as young scientists and gain job knowledge and experience; they also make an impact in their communities by leading their neighbors in marine stewardship activities.
