Video: Paul Revere’s Midnight Ride & Old North “Two if by Sea” Lanterns

On the eve of Patriot’s Day 2015, Paul Revere and William Dawes from the National Lancers set off for their midnight ride to Lexington. The reenactment followed the 240th Lantern Ceremony at Old North Church where “Two if by Sea” lanterns were lit to shine from the Old North bell tower. The 1st Michigan Colonial Fife & Drum Corps are also shown marching in Boston’s North End.

Old North Church Creating New “Longfellow Garden” Courtyard

The Old North Foundation has filed a grant application with the Edward Ingersoll Browne Fund to remodel its garden and courtyard area adjacent to the church at 193 Salem Street. Stephen T.
