Bridj is a new transportation company that connects neighborhoods via popular routes on Wi-Fi enabled express shuttles. It already operates in South Boston as well as parts of Cambridge and Brookline. The cost per trip is about a “cup of coffee,” according to management. View the above video for more about the Bridj service.
The company has announced a voting process to determine which Boston neighborhoods would be added to its service. Up for grabs are 10 neighborhoods that could benefit from its bus/taxi hybrid service. Those neighborhoods include the Back Bay, South End, Longwood, East Boston, Charlestown, North End; Central Square, Kendall Square and Harvard Square in Cambridge; and Somerville’s Union Square.
The next routes will be determined using an online voting system. Use the button below to vote for the North End!
