In an effort to highlight local New England musicians, artists, and bands, the North End Music and Performing Arts Center will be hosting their summer concert series in the Christopher Columbus Waterfront Park all throughout the month of July. The opening show was on Thursday July 10th, featuring the Scott Boni Jazz Quartet. Playing to a large crowd laying on the park, sitting on the waterfront and folks walking by, everyone stopped for a few minutes to listen to the jazz music. The concert series will take place on Thursday nights in July, the concerts are free and open to the public. Hosted by NEMPAC and courtesy of the Mayor’s Office of Arts, Tourism and Special Events, NorthEndBoston.com and Prezza.

July 24th- Eight to the Bar: “Vocally oriented swing, jump blues, and blues”
July 31st – Bella Notte ”Italian Opera & Song Favorites”
