“Despite what was termed one of our worst Winter’s, the roses are riotous in this first blooming in Christopher Columbus Park’s rose garden,” said Meredith Piscitelli who works on the horticulture group with the Friends of Christopher Columbus Park.
She also shares the photo of an 11 inch rose named Veteran’s Honor, adding “We’re hoping everybody makes the time in the next week or so, to ‘stop and smell the roses’ in their community park.”
